This Ariston branded element with insulator and anode is designed for the Classico, Contract, Primo, Hydraflo and Primo Twin boiler ranges. The element is used to heat water in a cylinder to provide domestic hot water. The element also maintains water temperature in the cylinder, keeping hot water at a set temperature and ready for use. Immersion heaters consist of a brass boss, element, thermostat pocket and thermostat, they can be made of copper, Incoloy or titanium and come in varying element lengths and boss thread sizes.
The immersion heater itself sits inside a hot water cylinder and is powered by a strong electric current, it runs off the mains electric and the electric resistance heater heats the water inside the tank until it reaches the designated temperature. When the temperature decreases below a certain level, the immersion heater comes back on until it reaches the required heat level again.
Please always refer to the manufacturers instructions for the correct application. All parts should be fitted by a qualified gas-safe certificate plumber.

We deliver all around the UK using DHL and Parcelforce. Standard delivery will take 1-5 working days to reach you. However, once the order is received, we will contact you to give you a more precise timescale. Usually, we will deliver the next day, subject to the date and time of when the order is received and the product.
Orders placed during the weekend will be processed the following Monday for delivery the following day. In the case of Bank Holidays, your order will be processed the next working day and delivered the following working day.
Remote areas: For orders to some addresses, especially in the Highlands of Scotland and Offshore, next day delivery options are not available, and delivery can take several days. Saturday delivery is unavailable for these areas.
